Moving in to your new home? Would you like your install done for your move in day?

Have you got your moving in date for your new home? Would you like everything installed for moving in?

Moving house is proven to be one of the most stressful times of your life and if you can handover some of the big stuff it's a great way to take some of the stress away from your move.

The good thing is we've done lots of installs around people moving homes from collecting TV's and kit from one property, to taking it to the other to be installed or getting everything ready so it's just a case of arriving once the keys are there and getting your install done.

We can do :

  • TV & audio installation. Any number of screens in any room along with sound bars, surround sound, in-ceiling speakers and many more. We can supply new kit or install whatever you have.

  • Aerial and satellite - Freesat, freeview, Sky, foreign satellite.

  • WiFi and networking - extra data points, improve your WiFi all throughout the home. Although you may not discover if you need this until you're actually in the house living there. If you can't get fibre then we can put in 4G/5G to give you internet.

  • Home security - Wireless alarms and/or CCTV are a great thing to get put in quick. That way you can be secure in your new home straight away. We also do a great range in doorbells and door entry system so worth checking out too.

So what do you have to think about before you move?

Think about what you need now and what you may need in the future.

Check out your internet provider
Will you get the one you want there? Check out speeds, make sure you're getting what you need. Most properties will have access to fibre now but you may not, so something like 4G or 5G might work. If you get the chance, speak to the neighbours or check out a local facebook page to see if anyone puts up what they're using.

Do you work from home?

Is your WiFi going to be an issue? How much will you have sitting on your WiFi? If you've got thick stone walls then you could have problems using your laptop if you're a couple of rooms away from the router. If it's a new build, the WiFi should be better but sometimes modern insulation techniques can cause problems. If you'd don't work from home, you don't use a lot on your wifi and you just use Freeview on your TV, it's probably not going to be an issue. If however, you have kids, want to use a streaming platform or you do work from home, then it's a definite consideration.

Where do you want the TV's to go?

Did you have much chance to think of the furniture set up? What's your ideal TV viewing scenario. If you'd just be happy with a TV or a sound bar that should be fairly simple but if you want a full surround sound system then we need to think about cable positions, power etc so will really need to take a quick look first.

You don't want cables trailing about your lovely new home so it's good to see how we can hide them.

Would you like TV's in the kids rooms or kitchen? If it's the kids room, do they like gaming in which case it might be an idea to hardwire so they get great speeds.

Are you moving straight in and not decorating or will you be changing anything when you get in? We can install either way but it's good to know before hand as we may be able to remove skirtings, cut walls or get under floors if need be. If you're renovating or decorating then it's a good time to get anything in you need to. There are lots of ways to do an installation so this may not even be a consideration but it's good to know before hand.

How is the security in the neighbourhood?

We can install cameras and alarms quite easily and it's good to make sure your home is covered as early as possible. Garages, expensive cars in driveways or vulnerable areas all have to be considered. We have a great selection of cameras which can work in all areas, low light and have AI which detects humans so you don't get notifications that you don't want. If you don't want too much then a simple camera doorbell will give some protection.

You may need to provide access to relatives, cleaners or carers. A simple door access system is a great way to do this.

What's the next step?

Just get in touch! We're available to discuss any of your requirements and as we've got years of experience, we have lots of ideas.

We may ask for building plans so we can have a better chance of getting as much done on the day as possible. You may have these to hand but don't worry if you don't. Or if you'd prefer we can pop out on your move-in day and have a look around to go through everything. Some jobs will be done in stages so you may want the TV's up on day 1 then we can come back and put other kit in once you're in and settled.

So get in touch today - either call or email in and let us know your requirements. That way we can ensure that we get a plan that suits you and is the least amount of stress!
